Paris Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi organised on the 22 of november a Lecture tittle “SHOULD THE PROLIFERATION RISKS LIMIT THE DEVELOPMENT OF NUCLEAR ENERGY?” By Mr. Jaques Bouchard at Robert de Sorbon Lecture Hall, Paris-Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi, Reem Island, Abu Dhabi.
M. Jacques Bouchard holds an engineering degree from the "Ecole Centrale de Paris", and specialized in reactor physics.
From 2006 to the end of 2009, he was Chairman of the Generation IV International Forum (GIF).
Since 2008 he is the Chairman of the Standing Advisory Group for Nuclear Energy of the IAEA.
He is Special Adviser to the Chairman of the CEA, French Atomic Energy Commission.
Since 2008, Jacques Bouchard is also member of the International Advisory Board (IAB), United Arab Emirates.
The IAB is established to provide the UAE peaceful nuclear energy program with the benefit of the expertise and knowledge of a highly select group of internationally recognized experts in the fields of nuclear safety and security, non-proliferation and the development of human resources.
